Learning Disability or Resistant Learner?

Does my child have a learning disability or are they just not wanting to learn? That is a question I have asked myself many times over the years. I have had children ‘forget’ math books that were right in front of them, and thus ‘forget’ to do the days’ work. Children that could write words forwards and backwards literally. A child that could verbatim tell me exactly what I was asking her to do and then not do the project even close to correct.
