Blacksmithing Workshops - Conscious Parenting & Natural Learning Conference 2012

This is a reminder for the Blacksmithing workshops ~ We currently have 3 bookings and require some more for this activity to go ahead.

Please book as soon as possible if you intend to be a part of this activity.
This is a paid activity as it requires speciality equipment and instruction.
AGE ~ 8 - 12 years with parent/guardian ~ 12 and over unaccompanied *Younger children under the age of 8 years can take part with an adult but this will be up to your knowledge of the maturity of your individual child, this is for safety reasons (we have had children as young as 5 years at previous conferences as long as each younger child has an adult to help)

PRICE ~ $30 per person per 2 hour workshop (your creation is for you to keep) & $45 per family or small group of friends sharing the same forge (your creations are for you to keep)

TIME ~ 3 x 2 hour time slots Sun 12th Aug ~ We will be filling up the Sunday first and if demand is there an extra class will run on the Monday (**1 x 2 hour time slot Mon morning 13th Aug)

~ clear safety glasses (available at hardware shops)
~ wool or cotton clothing NO synthetic clothing (FIRE safety hazard precaution)
~ Closed in shoes preferably leather upper
~ gloves
~ small hammer if possible
