Gale Databases

Inner West Libraries encourage students to take online membership (eMembership) of the library to access a huge range of resources for recreation and study. They do not need to live in the LGA and registration and access to all e-resources are free. Select emembership at the bottom of the join the library page.

Inner West library subscribes to Gale suite of databases, a time-saving resource you and your students can trust. For your students, these databases bring together the vetted content and tools needed to simplify how they search and use relevant information on high school subjects

• Encourages objectivity with a range of sources such as research articles, videos, interactive maps, and other materials.

• Promotes discovery by enabling students to easily bookmark, print, download, email, and share information online through G Suite for Education and Microsoft Office tools.

• Accommodates diverse backgrounds with ReadSpeaker text-to-speech technology and on-demand article translation in a dozen languages.
