Science Week is here and it’s time to spark curiosity and encourage creative thinking at home! National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology. Established in 1997, Science Week, runs each year in August and features more than 1000 events around Australia, including those delivered by universities, schools, research institutions, libraries, museums and science centres.
This year, the event will be held between the 12th and 20th of August, and will follow the theme "Innovation: Powering Future Industries." National Science Week events attract a wide audience from children to adults, and science amateurs to professionals. Over one million people participate in science events across the nation during Science Week.
