HEA is excited to announce that after 12 months of discussions, the HEU has this week agreed that Queensland Home Educators can include in both their educational plans and annual reports ‘non-parent taught’ samples.
This is great news for Queensland Home Educators, and should make reporting much easier. Great work HEA-Queensland!
Qld home educators can now include in their planning and reporting all education they provide to their children - it could be by a teacher, tutor, friend, relative, industry expert. We deliberately used the words 'alternate instructor' so as not to get new (ridiculous) limits. It applies to all areas of study, not just extra-curricular, including Maths and English for example.
