The illuminate:nextgen Challenge

An exciting entrepreneurial educational experience coming soon!

The illuminate:nextgen Challenge is an immersive education experience empowering high school students to be the confident, creative and capable young people they have the potential to be.

During the week-long program, students focus on solving problems in their community through a series of innovative stages, learning about core areas of business and developing entrepreneurial skills with the support of skilled facilitators at every stage.

As well as being aligned to the curriculum, to ensure an impactful learning journey that leaves a timeless legacy for every single student, the illuminate:nextgen Challenge reflects the business and industry experience of illuminate Education Australia plus a network of business champions and community leaders.

With over 15,000 students having completed the illuminate:nextgen Challenge all across Australia, often in collaboration with universities, professional bodies, local government, businesses and community organisations, this is something you and your students don't want to miss.

“Such a well delivered program, bringing together representatives from across industries to provide real-world advice and guidance to young learners.”- John King, Head of Education and Careers, The Huddle Wyndham

Home Educated Students are invited to join the challenge. It is completely free for students to participate in the challenge. It is a 5-day intensive challenge where students will be working in teams (and Illuminate are happy to organise teams for students who join individually). There is also a prize for the winning team, as well as being invited to the National Finals day where they can compete nationally.
