We cannot wait to introduce you to the illuminate Enterprise Challenge where we empower young people to be the confident, creative and capable young people they have the potential to be. With over 17,000 students across Australia having gone through the challenge, we are thrilled to be announcing our 2022 challenges! We have loved having home school students involved last year and look forward to having them join us again.
What is this Challenge?
The illuminate Enterprise Challenge is an authentic entrepreneurial education program where students solve a community problem through an innovation process and develop a core set of life skills in communication, understanding, solving problems, and working smart.
An immersive week-long, fully funded program
Teaching of core business skills
A chance to create new ideas to overcome community challenges
Skilled facilitators plus business and community experts sharing their experience
And much much more across one action-packed week!
Sounds fun! Who should do this Challenge?
This Challenge is designed for a wide range of students. To help you consider students to get involved, we recommend considering the following:
Students who are interested in business and entrepreneurship, regularly showing initiative and leadership in the classroom
Students that are disengaging from learning in the classroom – the authentic application of real-world skills in the challenge allows students to flourish
Students currently considering if further study is an option for them
Students that are excelling in schools as the challenge’s self-directed approach allows their passions to drive their performance
Students currently undertaking business, commerce, or accounting classes

illuminate Education Australia deliver authentic programs to provide an experience of the working world while still being educationally relevant. Designed by Adam Mostogl (Top 30 Under 30 Australian Entrepreneurs 2017, Finalist for Young Australian of the Year 2015) with the support of educators across Australia, the entire challenge will provide students with the opportunity to present industry-relevant submissions that help them prepare students for the world that awaits them!
