Join Costa Georgiadis and the team at Intrepid Landcare for a high impact forum that will not only connect like-minded young people passionate about the environment, but will support them to explore the issues that matter, and teach them how to make a meaningful difference.
Hear from a range of inspiring young leaders and school students already doing stuff that matters for the environment, and learn about the diversity of ways that young people, communities, and schools can get involved in their own way.
Young leaders who have turned their passion and concern for the future of our planet into meaningful action that makes a difference will share their experience, top tips and knowledge on the day.
The Intrepid Landcare team will then work with attendees to get clear on what they want to do and how to take action (we know this part can be the most overwhelming and tricky!).
Young people will get access to practical tools, resources, knowledge and most importantly, support from people who can help make their ideas happen. Attendees will walk away feeling empowered and connected to what’s possible.
The event is for students aged 18 years or under who are high school students, senior primary school students or from a youth group.
The 2022 NextGen Landcare Youth Forum is a FREE online event taking place on Tuesday 23 August at 10.30am to 2pm AEST, at the International Convention Centre, Darling Harbour, Sydney.
