Taste tester Program available to Homeschoolers in Year 10.

The TAFE Year 10 Trade Taster Program will open applications for their SkillsTech Brisbane campuses, this Thursday, 9 March, ONLY. This operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is ONLY for students in Year 10. Applications open at 9am and usually close by noon, due to demand.

If you have a student who is CURRENTLY in Year 10 who may be interested in a trade, please email heaq@hea.edu.au ASAP and an email with more information will be forwarded to you. (Note, HEAQ is not staffed from Fri 1pm to Mon 1pm.) Parents with younger students who may be interested to find out about the program for future years may email also, but your student will not be eligible this year. No exceptions, sorry. (Qld Government rules, not mine or TAFE's.)

In the meantime, please make sure the Year 10 student has a USI. If not, you need to create one here. Creating a USI is free. You may also like to check out more about the program at the TAFE Taster page.
